Diogo was born with a condition known as cerebral palsy, a physical disability that affects movement and posture. Diogo holds memories of a childhood full of bullying because of his disability. Even so, high-school provided outlets for Diogo to express his creative side, and he first picked up a camera in his teen years. Peers began to see who Diogo was beyond the disability. After graduation, a friend’s sudden passing would change the trajectory of his mental health journey forever.
